Today I saw a bird,
sitting in an ever-so elegant perch.
Chirp, chirp, chirp,
I listened to her call,
and learned all her intricate words.
"Take flight in this world,"
she said,
"through all its beauty; even its pain and hurt."
Her head twisted and turned,
as she flew away capturing the earth.
So I asked for a few more words,
and she recited more musical chirps.
"Take flight in this world,"
she sang,
"for you are as I; so much more than just a bird."
