We're told to never change who we are in order to preserve our true selves. Resisting change interrupts opportunity for improvement, new experiences and new information. Society's push to choose ONE job, ONE home, ONE person to share life with jeopardizes our free will and ability to remain in control of our own lives. We challenge our autonomy when being comfortable with control. Leaving us in a perpetual cycle of the same places, people and ideas. Identity, ideology, values and morals within us face great threat when we put acceptance from others before our selves. A loss of control enters our everyday - growing more if we feed routine and consistency.
